A lot of people ask me why I have such a weird, eclectic taste in music. Why do I post things from techno to indie rock to hiphop? Well, I grew up with a mom that played nothing but old school soul from artists like Nina Simone, Sam Cooke, and the Temptations. In contrast to that was my dad who played guitar and was listening to Hendrix, The Doors, Zeppelin and Simon and Garfunkel. I grew up listening to so many varying styles of music, and from that what I have learned is music is what moves you. It is what makes you smile, what makes you sing along, and what makes you get up and dance. We don't expect everyone to like everything we throw up on here, but we post it for you guys. It is what moves us, and hopefully what might move some of you. So here is to music. Where it has come from and where it is going.
