So our usual playlist host was shut down a couple of weeks ago, so we have been on the hunt for a player. This is the first one we want to try out, so use it, abuse it, and let us know what you think. Feedback is most appreciated!
We have some big plans for 2013, so get ready to get filthy and chill with us.

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe)
We give away a lot of music on here that you can feel free to download, but when something comes around that is worth purchasing and supporting we like to tell you about that too. Many critics are already calling this the album of the year. People are saying that Kendrick is bringing the West Coast back by himself, with some obvious production support from Dre. In the recent past the good doctor's support that has been both a gift and a curse, with many of his signed artists failing to even release an album. But this is different. Lamar takes his storytelling ability to a higher level; a lot like what we used to see with Nas on Illmatic and Hova on Reasonable Doubt. Even speaking of an album in the same breath as those two is the ultimate compliment. The album is an open book of soulful stories, with Lamar vividly describing growing up in the Compton hood. The lyrical content is on another level. It demands multiple listens to even grasp the brilliance of how Kendrick manipulates words and rhyme scheme. This is hiphop, and if this is any indication the West Coast is certainly on its way back. Support quality artists and good music and download the album here....DOWNLOAD. You wont be disappointed.

Autism Awareness
I know we post a lot of music on here and many of the songs have some fairly ridiculous, derogatory lyrics. But the point of the site was never to tell you what to listen to, or what you should think is quality music; it was to post a plethora of songs across many different genres hoping that one of the many songs we liked you might enjoy too. We post songs and keep up the site because we love music. It's really that simple. So to see something like this, with music making such a difference, is quite inspirational. Autism is a terrible disorder that affects, in some estimates, 6 out of every 1000 children born. Most of us probably know someone, or have had contact with someone with the disorder. I have had a great deal of experience working with many children and families that deal with the struggles that accompany the disorder on an everyday basis. It is not easy. But to see these parents fight for their children despite the hardships they endure is pretty amazing. To see the remarkable gifts many of the children posses despite their handicaps is astonishing. So I encourage everyone that reads this site to do what they can to help. It doesn't even need to be a charity like autism, it can be anything where people just need some help. Whether it be gifting money or your time try to give back. We can all do and give more. Thanks for reading all this nonsense. And yes I still think Katie Perry is terrible, just a little less terrible.

Machine Gun Kelly - "See My Tears" (Official Video)
Absolutely amazing video. This is what music is about. Hate rap. Hate hiphop. Think it's stupid and ignorant. Fine. Some of it is. Just like music in any genre. But this is different. This is an artist that cares so much about his fans; cares so much about his music. I probably have the some of the most diverse musical taste of anyone you will ever find, and not too often does music move me. But this is special.
So I care less about appearance.
Just as long as they can hear us.We're fearless, we're stupid, we're dealers, we're losers, we're killers
We're orphans, we're addicts, we're stealers, we're shooters...so kill us.

We are what they say we are until conformity hits us.

Lace Up (Deluxe) - MGK
Dropped at midnight last night and this is absolutely going to explode. I might go as far as to say there has never been a rapper that absolutely attacks beats the way MGK does. The whole album is filled with such passion. Cobain is certainly back, but this time he is spitting fire. Kells has become the voice of the misfits, and that voice is both vicious and violent. The tracks are filled with rhymes that fight back at a world that tells us all who we should be. Kelly simply says...fuck that.
In an era of hiphop where we are inundated by amazing beats with less than sub-par lyricism MGK shows us that these two things need not go hand and hand. The energy he brings to the tracks is reflected in his relentless fan base and the Laced Up movement. His live shows feature a a culturally diverse crowd with tattoos, piercings, and other physical reminders of non-conformity. The rhymes transcend hiphop to touch a generation where genre has never really mattered.
Fitting he has DMX guest on a track...this album often conjures up memories of Its Dark and Hell is Hot. Back when hiphop enthusiasts first heard X growl on a track and then just go nuts; when MGK jumps on the beat and yells "Lace Up" you get that same kind of chill running down your spine. He is about to murder a beat. Quite literally tear it to pieces. A great listen from start to finish. Furious rhymes paired with excellent production. If you love music, and hiphop, the way we do then, as Kelly would say, lace the fuck up...
Here is the link to go grab it on iTunes and I suggest that you do...

Machine Gun Kelly freestyle
Dear Kanye,
Stop rapping and just let MGK flow on all you beats. Thanks.
"Who's best? Him? Yes. Tim West. Spin this. Back 50 times like Olympian gymnast. Boy I'm a G I'll make the queen my mistress. And my rhymes so dope I failed my piss test."

2 Chainz - No Lie (Explicit) ft. Drake
2pac without a nose ring?
Dear 2 Chainz,
You are a horrible rapper. I thought you might be aware of that considering most of your verses consist of rhyming random words at the end of lines that make little to no sense, but obviously you think this makes you one of the greatest rappers of all time. I keep posting your music because your beats and your hooks are insane, and it's almost easier to listen to with no lyrical content what so ever.
I be smoking high on Pluto
I just put on one boot yo
You Popeye then Im Bluto
I just ate some prosciutto
No Lie, No Lie, No Lie-ei-ei....
That's a verse donation from yours truly. Your welcome. I think it fits rather well. Hugs and kisses.
